ULM’s Women’s Symposium
The 2019 ULM Women’s Symposium was held on Wednesday, March 27th in the new Bayou Pointe Student Event Center. ULM students, faculty and community members came together to discuss personal, professional, and cultural issues women face on campus and in their communities. Nine panels addressed questions about leadership, financial health, mental health, inclusion, social media challenges, harassment, negotiation, and networking. Numerous representatives from various businesses and organizations served on panels, sharing their knowledge on relevant topics. The Symposium inspires ULM students, connects them with community leaders, and shows them success up close. The Symposium recognizes outstanding individuals effecting change for women across the spectrum.
