SCHOOL SUPPLIES PRESENTED TO MONROE CITY SCHOOLS

Representatives for the City of Monroe, the Census Bureau and Monroe City Schools gathered to transition $2500 in school supplies to the city school system. Earlier in the month, Fire Chief Terry Williams and Mayor Friday Ellis joined forces to find a way to collect and supply much-needed back-to-school items for students.
