MSO Rhapsody in Blue
On October 24, the Monroe Symphony Orchestra held their annual fundraiser. This year’s event was An Evening of Gershwin. The stellar gala evening celebrated 45 years of the Monroe Symphony Orchestra! The music of American composer George Gershwin was featured including An American in Paris, Selections from Porgy and Bess, and the ever-popular Rhapsody in Blue featuring local favorite, Richard Seiler, on the piano. The event was held at Jack Howard Theatre.
