LET IT SPIN DIY PINWHEEL

A festive and easy DIY craft that turns a square of paper into a spinning pinwheel perfect for adding a little red white and blue fun to your Fourth of July celebrations.

INSTRUCTIONS:
1. Start with a square piece of paper measuring 7½” x 7½”.
2. Draw diagonal lines from corner to corner to form an “X.”
3. Cut along each diagonal line, stopping about 1 inch from the center.
4. Punch a small hole in the center and in every other corner tip.
5. Fold each punched corner toward the center and line up the holes.
6. Push a pin or brad through all the holes, add a small bead then attach to a pencil eraser, straw, or wooden dowel.
7. Leave a little space so the pinwheel can spin freely.

Give it a gentle blow or hold it in the breeze to watch it twirl!
