KEDM Director’s Gala
On March 23rd, KEDM held a Director’s Gala before a performance of Phantom of the Opera, where attendees mixed and mingled with the actors and the director of the play. Guests enjoyed hors d’oeuvres and desserts from local restaurants at the Black Box Theatre on ULM’s campus as well as a live music performance. The Phantom of the Opera was presented by the University of Louisiana at Monroe School of Visual and Performing Arts and directed by Mark R. Clark and conducted by Deborah Chandler. The gala was a wonderful chance to support the local arts community, support local talent and support public radio. The gala was sponsored by the Northeast Louisiana Arts Council, Fiesta Nutrition Center, Atmos Energy, BayouLife Magazine, Kelsey Klean and Sir Speedy.
