With families gathering for Thanksgiving, we’ve found a fun and super easy craft that celebrates the bounty of the season. Let’s make colorful Indian corn with pipe cleaners and pony beads! These would look so cute tied as a napkin ring at the Thanksgiving table, so that little ones can show off their skills.

You’ll need:
A bag of long, neutral or tan pipe cleaners
A mix of yellow and multicolored pony beads.

Take four long pipe cleaners, line up their ends, then twist them in the middle to secure them together. Next, spread out each pipecleaner to make an 8-armed “star.” Start adding beads in random colors and patterns – the more random the better!  Leave about 1 ½ inches of unbeaded pipe cleaner at each end. Once all the “arms” have been beaded, gather each arm up together and twist the unbeaded pipe cleaners to secure your “corn cob.” Spread out the pipe cleaner “tassels” and manipulate the “corn” strands as needed.
