The inaugural Women’s Symposium at the University of Louisiana Monroe was held on March 1 on the campus of ULM. Guests came to listen to panelists speak on the topics of education and careers, transitioning and adapting, and health and lifestyles. The keynote speaker for the event was Lynnel Ruckert, the former chief of staff for House Majority Whip, Representative Steve Scalise. The symposium was open to anyone who might be interested in women-related topics and was a great success.
