St. Francis Foundation Golf Classic

On Wednesday, April 25, a reception and silent auction was held at the home of Dr. Rolf and Katie Morstead to celebrate the 7th Annual St. Francis Foundation Golf Classic. This event is presented by title sponsors What You Give Will Grow (WYGWG) Foundation, inspired by New Orleans Saints punter Thomas Morstead and his wife Lauren, and the Kitty DeGree Foundation. The following day a golf tournament was held at Bayou DeSiard Country Club with morning and afternoon flights. This year’s event was a huge success, raising over $100,000 for the St. Francis Foundation, whose mission is to care for those most in need throughout our community strengthening the health of families. In particular funds are directed toward services for women and children, through enhanced clinical excellence, advanced technology, increased access to care and support of their collaboration with St. Francis Pediatrics and Our Lady of the Lake Children’s Hospital to improve the overall health of children throughout Louisiana.
