Ouachita Green
Ouachita Green awards luncheon was held on June 21 at CenturyLink’s headquarters in Monroe. The guest speaker was Jack Montoucet, the Secretary of the Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries. Awards were given to community members who have made a positive impact on keeping Louisiana and the environment clean and beautiful. Ouachita Green is something much more than just an idea. It is a personal pledge to preserve natural beauty, protect the environment, prevent blight, improve public lands and make the community a better place in which to live.
In conjunction with Keep Louisiana Beautiful (KLB) and Keep America Beautiful (KAB), Ouachita Green’s unified efforts will help positively shape the future for generations to come.
