Hemline Food Truck Roundup

On April 21, Hemline hosted a food trunk roundup to bring awareness to the US Soldiers Foundation and local food trucks.  Like many days in April and March, there was some rain, but that didn’t stop the fun and awareness.  There was live music by Gray Risinger and Toby Traylor along with beverages from Marsala Beverage and Choice Brands.  During the event, there was a live interview with KNOE, which unknowingly reached a wounded veteran from the Vietnam War that needed assistance from the recent flooding.  Hemline was able to provide the foundation with enough money to help the veteran with the emergency assistance he needed. What a great event that shows that we live in a caring community!
