Create hand-painted salt dough ornaments for a touch of festive charm this holiday season.
WHAT YOU NEED:
4 cups flour
1 cup table salt
1 1/2 cup water
Mix ingredients together in a large bowl, add more flour if it’s too wet or sticky. Knead until soft. Divide into two sections and roll out between parchment paper. Next, cut the dough with cookie cutters. Preheat oven to 250 degrees F. Bake for 90 minutes to 2 hours. Let cool completely and then decorate with acrylic paint. Seal with Mod Podge if desired.
