Culturati Noiré
On the evening of November 12th, “Culturati Noiré” was held at Brown Gym on the University of Louisiana at Monroe campus. Organizer and ULM alumni Robert J. Brown collaborated with the Eta Chi chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha to bring this 6th annual cultural heritage event to fruition. Guests enjoyed live art galleries, a fashion show depicting the progression of African-American history, local vendors with handmade goods, non-profit organizations and a spoken word performance illustrating the stories of African-American ancestry.
