Cancer Foundation League Gala
It was “An Evening of Southern Elegance” at the Annual Cancer Foundation League gala, held on Saturday, January 27. Bayou DeSiard Country Club was filled with beautifully dressed women and gentleman that came together for a great cause. They all enjoyed drinks and delicious hors d’oeuvres and danced the night away to the sounds of Almost Famous. The money raised from this event will help area cancer patients with non-medical bills, such as transportation to treatment, nutritional supplements, lodging during treatment and some household bills. The night was made possible by generous sponsors and the amazing volunteers of the Cancer Foundation League!
