The community turned out big at Boilin’ for Braylon to support one of its own on Antique Alley, where they enjoyed some of the best crawfish of the season. The mudbugs were made all the better, because they were being boiled for a good cause – to support Braylon Streetman, the three-year-old son of Brittany and Justin Streetman of West Monroe.

In May, Braylon was diagnosed with Dyskeratosis Congenita, an autoimmune disorder. Money raised at Boilin’ for Braylon will help the Streetman family with the expenses associated with Braylon’s care and a bone marrow transplant.

Paramount Healthcare Consultants, State Senator Mike Walsworth, Walsworth and Co. and the Gingerbread House Boutique sponsored the event, which featured a silent auction and live music by The Waterboys.
