The Cancer Foundation League had a star-studded evening at their annual gala – “An Evening at the Oscars.” The event was held at the West Monroe Convention Center on Saturday, February 27. Guests enjoyed the sounds of the Streta Band all the way from Nashville and the chance to win fabulous prizes and packages during the auction. Andy and Leslie Trahan were on hand to speak about their personal experience with cancer and how important the CFL is to helping patients right here in our community. The CFL provides services to area cancer patients by helping with costs such as medication, transportation, utility bills, medical equipment and more. Since the start of the foundation, CFL has given over $1.5 million to help 4,234 Northeast Louisiana cancer patients.
