Women’s heart health takes center stage each year, with the American Heart Association’s annual Go Red For Women series of events. To commemorate the national initiative, Glenwood Regional Medical Center hosted a Go Red For Women luncheon at the West Monroe Convention Center on February 15th. The annual event was held at the West Monroe Convention Center. The event raises funds and awareness for the American Heart Association, the nation’s oldest and largest voluntary organization dedicated to fighting heart disease and stroke. The luncheon included booths by local vendors and businesses, as well as a fashion show featuring survivors of heart disease.
