Farmer’s Market on Tower
Every Saturday this summer, the Farmer’s Market on Tower will host local vendors, farmers and musicians. This venture is the vision of Joe Holyfield and is a true farm to fork market with local vegetables, meats, eggs and more. Each week, there is live music as well. Some of the things you can find at the market include smoked cheese from Jeff Hicks, chicken and duck eggs, honey and jelly from Swamp Fox Farms, peaches from Indian Village Harvest Farms, boudin from Heritage Catering and Chef Cory Bahr and more. It all takes place from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Tower Drive, between CC’s Coffee House and Newk’s Eatery.
