The 41st annual Pumpkin Bash: A Children’s Book Festival is back from 10 AM- 2PM October 19 at the Ouachita Parish Public Library’s Main Branch. Children can mix and mingle with authors, play games, munch on snacks, compete in a costume contest, and even win a free book (while supplies last). Featured author Mary Manhein will be discussing and selling her new children’s book, Claire Carter, Bone Detective: The Mystery of the Bones in the Drainpipe.
